太空堡壘卡拉狄加》（Battlestar Galactica）是一出在2003年12月8日于美國科幻頻道（Sci Fi Channel）上開播的美國科幻迷你電視系列劇（Miniseries），與之后在2004年10月18日于英國Sky One電視頻道上首播的一個系列電視系列劇。這一系列的電視系列劇其實都是以1978年時一出極受歡迎的科幻電影《太空堡壘卡拉狄加》與其之后一系列同名電視系列劇為藍本，加以改編翻拍而成，并且成為科幻電視臺有史以來最賣座的自制電視系列劇。
　　故事背景于未來世界，人類已由地球移民到其它星系居住；人們為了貪求私欲，便開始研究及制造一種擁有獨立思想及感覺的機械人 - Cylons 來為人類服務。但人們怎樣也想不到，這些本應是幫助人類的機械人竟會調 轉頭對抗自已，因此，人類與自已制造的機械人之戰爭便開始展開...
　　在經過數十年漫長、死傷無數的戰爭結朿后，人們本以為可得到和平的生活，但 Cylons 明白到即使在休戰后始終沒辨法與人類建立實際的外交關系，故 Cylons 開始密?#092;另一個對付人類的計劃，這次它們將會制造一些與人類一模一樣的機械人作間碟滲入人類世界，從而以里應外合的方法把人類消滅。
