可愛(ài)小孩子Musa一直與家人住在非洲村落內(nèi)，生活無(wú)憂，直至一次神秘疾病的肆虐下，令他成為孤兒。Musa只好遠(yuǎn)行至巿鎮(zhèn)內(nèi)尋找叔叔，希望能過(guò)點(diǎn)好日子。Musa帶備僅有的糧食及父親送給他的大鼓，孤身上路。Musa得到貨車(chē)司機(jī)Nobe的熱誠(chéng)幫助，終于到達(dá)了約翰尼斯堡，并嘗試尋找工作。可是巿內(nèi)滿街孤兒，根本無(wú)人愿意聘請(qǐng)他們，Musa命途相當(dāng)坎坷。艱辛歲月還是挨得住的，Musa意識(shí)到肆虐村落的疾病正是“世紀(jì)絕癥”愛(ài)滋病。稚氣未過(guò)的Musa 已長(zhǎng)大了，他自問(wèn)有著非一般使命──就是重返屬于自己的村落，告訴村民真相……

《總有愛(ài)鼓勵(lì)》是有關(guān)一個(gè)小男孩的感動(dòng)旅程，也是講述一個(gè)全球性問(wèn)題。這電影最重要的信息是“活在真相中，不要活在無(wú)知的世界里”。
