U2是一支在1976年時(shí)成立于都柏林的愛(ài)爾蘭四人制搖滾樂(lè)樂(lè)團(tuán)，自1980年代竄起走紅之后，一直到進(jìn)入21世紀(jì)的今日，仍然非常活躍于全球流行音樂(lè)樂(lè)壇。音樂(lè)風(fēng)格上，除了傳統(tǒng)的流行硬式搖滾之外，在1990年代U2也曾嘗試過(guò)一陣子較為實(shí)驗(yàn)性的電子音樂(lè)作品。在內(nèi)容方向上U2的創(chuàng)作內(nèi)容非常廣泛，尤其是對(duì)于政治性的話題并不避諱，例如人權(quán)問(wèn)題的探討就是他們常常著墨的一種主題。由于其知名度與良好的形象，今日的U2已經(jīng)成為愛(ài)爾蘭重要的國(guó)家象征之一。

《Artificial Horizon》是U2的一張限量版混音專(zhuān)輯(U2 Subscribers Limited Edition)。此專(zhuān)輯并不出售，只提供給捐助樂(lè)隊(duì)官網(wǎng)的Fans。

Running to 60 minutes, this exclusive CD features 13 tracks remixed by some of the world's leading DJs and producers. It promises to become a collectors must-have on a par with it's 1995 fan-club-only predecessor, 'Melon: Remixes for Propaganda'.
