亞利松德皮耶斯(Alexandre Pires)可以說是巴西當地家喻戶曉的歌手，曾獲世界音樂獎、廣告音樂獎等大獎連番加冕、和足球天王羅納度相提并論的巴西歌壇超級天王.自八十年代出道以來，一直以拉丁新好男人的形象著稱。 Alexandre剛出道時加入一個地區性的樂團SPC 當任主唱，而在Alexandre加入之后，SPC的聲勢也扶搖直上，連續幾張專輯在美國的銷售量都不錯，1999年的專輯《愛情游戲》更邀得拉丁大姐大 Gloria Estefan對唱〈Santo，Santo〉，不僅在拉丁美洲各國獲得冠軍，更獲得當年Ondas Awards年度最佳單曲的殊榮。Alexandre也在一連串的成功之后單飛，分別在2001年和2003年推出兩張西班牙文專輯《同名專輯》和《星光燦爛》，另外在巴西則是推出了三張葡萄牙文專輯。在美國地區，兩張西文專輯都打入拉丁專輯榜前十名，并締造了五首前十名單曲。而在拉丁美洲地區成績更加亮眼，除了在家鄉巴西拿下多張白金唱片和一張鉆石唱片之外，在阿根廷和位居歐洲的西班牙及葡萄牙都有雙白金的銷量。此外，Alexandre也曾和許多知名的歌手合作，除了在SPC時期合作的Gloria Estefan之外，還有西班牙氣質天王Alejandro Sanz，以及名導演阿莫多瓦特別欽點、電影『悄悄告訴她』女主角、西班牙性格女歌手Rosario，都曾特別為Alexandre的專輯跨刀對唱。 2004年結束前Alexandre發行了全新專輯《巴西風情》，當然還是Alexandre擅長的拉丁抒情曲風。
